The Outer Cape’s first inhabitants were the Wampanoags. Our thought-provoking exhibit located in the main exhibition hall provides historical insight of the Indigenous people’s history from the origins to present-day.
Outside, the museum, explore our wetu – a traditional Wampanoag dwelling installed in front of the museum, and our three-sisters garden (in season) and witness life of Truro’s first people.
