Our dedicated staff and volunteers can use your help. Please consider volunteering for the Truro Historical Society.
Docents at the Highland House Museum (June through September)
- Do you love history and would like a deeper understanding of Truro’s contribution to our history?
- Do you like to meet new people and contribute to our community?
- Can you spare a half-day once a week to volunteer at the museum?
Join our fun-loving group of volunteers at the Highland House, greeting and providing guidance and information for our visitors. Volunteer as little as a single 4-hour shift per week, (10-2, or 12-4) Monday through Saturday.
Archives
Volunteers are needed to help catalogue and care for our growing collection of documents, objects and art gifted to the Society by Truro’s families and friends. Volunteer at the Cobb Archive on Tuesday or Thursday mornings
What are your talents?
Do you love photography, have a good knowledge of technology, experience in fundraising? Like to swing a hammer or paint a wall? We would love to hear from you!
It takes a village to keep our history alive – we can make your talents work to get the job done.
