Neal Personeus creates fine art driftwood sculptures and tableaux. As a young boy, Neal spent time on the beaches of North Truro with his family. From the flotsam and jetsam that Cape Cod Bay and the Atlantic Ocean would return to the shoreline, Neal fashioned pirate ships in the sand as a young boy. Decades later, his imagination continues to be inspired by beach finds. His creations are fascinating in their scale, intricacy and whimsy. This exhibit is a delight for beach lovers and beachcombers of all ages. Visit Neal at the Highland House Museum on Saturday, July 16th from 11-1 PM

Susan Howe Music & Speaker Series

We are very pleased and excited to announce the establishment of the Truro Historical Society’s Susan Howe Music & Speaker Series established in her honor due to the generosity of the Truro community, her family and her many friends and colleagues. In establishing this series, Susan’s commitment to Truro’s history and culture will live on and provide inspiration to all.

We will strive to develop and bring a program of inspiring authors, artists, historians, and musicians to the museum each season to share their knowledge and talent with the community and visitors to Truro.
