I chose to paint the Pamet Marsh in Truro on my plate. It’s so beautiful and changes dramatically with the tides. In a high tide, the marsh disappears, submerged by the ocean, and in a low tide, the variety of green grass clusters are like little islands.
I’m retired and lived in Truro with my husband and our dog, Maddie. I was inspired by my niece, Charlotte, who painted the plate, Dahlia By the Sea.
