Finding Judy – Researching the Life of Judith Shahn

Spend an evening with researcher Lisa Meecham as she brings to life the story of Outer Cape artist Judith Shahn. Drawing on her recent work in the Truro Historical Society’s Cobb Archives, Meecham will weave together Shahn’s artistic journey with a broader reflection on the importance of historical societies as essential resources for research, discovery, and preservation.

This program offers a unique behind-the-scenes perspective on how local archives inform and enrich our understanding of artists and their communities. The evening will also mark the closing of our special auction, featuring a work by Judith Shahn.
