Film Screening — Truro Historical Society’s “Fishing and Fishnet”
Join us for a special screening of Fishing and Fishnet, the Truro Historical Society’s newest documentary, produced by board member Jan Worthington.
This engaging 42-minute film brings to life the story of John and Tiny Worthington, who played a vital role in Truro’s economic industry from the 1930’s to the 1950’s through their two businesses: the Pond Village Cold Storage and Tiny Worthington’s Fishnet Industries.
Through storytelling and local history, the film offers a vivid glimpse into an important chapter of Truro’s two small businesses during the challenging years of the Great Depression.
Please join us for wine and light refreshments after the screening.
Tickets are $10, and seating is limited for this special presentation.
