Edward Hopper painted extensively in South Truro, Truro, and Wellfleet in the early 1930s when our rolling hills were entirely bare. Beth looks at the paintings and compares them with what actually exists and talks about the artistic choices he made to create work that is so compelling. She includes history of the area and vintage photos from a 1920s photo album. Lisbeth Wiley Chapman has deep roots in South Truro and is the owner of www.HopperHouseTours.com
