Truro Historical Society will be kicking off Truro Treasures Weekend at Highland House Museum on Friday night, September 15th.
The creator of our new Pamet Harbor exhibit, Tim Richards, will delve into the fascinating history of Pamet Harbor as a major fishing port in the mid-19th century. Tim will share insights into the thriving fishing industry that once dominated this picturesque harbor and the impact it had on the local economy and community.

Are you ready for an exciting adventure that will take you through the charming town of Truro? Look no further than The Treasure Hunt! Register your carload now!
Gather your team of 2-6 people and join us on September 17 at 9 AM at the Highland House Museum to pick up your clues.
As you solve each clue, hop in your car and head to the location where you will find a letter in a bucket.
Collect all the letters to form an anagram that holds significance to Truro.
Bring your kids along too! – they’ll love running to the bucket to collect the letter! This event is not only entertaining but also supports a great cause.
