Highland House Museum – 2026 Season Open House

Join us for a Community Open House as we celebrate the opening of a new season at the Highland House Museum! This special day invites visitors to explore the museum free of charge, reconnect with local history, and experience all that the Truro Historical Society has to offer.

Be among the first to view our brand-new America250 exhibit, Hard Choices on a Perilous Coast: Truro’s Story of the American Revolution, which brings to life the challenges and decisions faced by Outer Cape residents during this pivotal time in history. In addition, visitors can enjoy a newly curated gallery on our second-floor hallway featuring recent acquisitions from the Society’s collection.

This open house is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the Society’s work, meet our team, and discover ways to get involved. Whether you’re interested in becoming a member, volunteering, or simply enjoying our local history, we welcome you to join us as we kick off the season together.
