Truro Treasures Weekend – Opening Event
The Railroad is back!
Please visit the Highland House Museum on Friday, September 20th at 4:30 for our FREE screening of our latest short documentary, Tracks of Time: Truro’s Railroad History, produced by Jan Worthington and directed by Katie Ward.
Board Member Jan Worthington will host the event, with Jan and Jane Weissman, Railroad exhibit volunteer and author of The Provincetown Railroad – The Tracks of Change, will discuss the film and lead a Q & A session.
While here, check out our Railroad exhibit! It is packed with facts and stories of Truro’s railroad history and there is also a display of the early era of rolling stock – steam locomotives, passenger and freight cars, the charismatic caboose and more.
