SUMMARY:Paul Kemprecos – German Glider Program
DESCRIPTION:The Highland House Museum welcomes Paul Kemprecos, Cape Cod novelist, to talk about his research on the little-known German glider program in Truro during the summer of 1928, which he used while writing his mystery novel, ‘Killing Icarus‘.\nPaul Kemprecos is the author of eight books in the Cape Cod-based Aristotle “Soc” Socarides private detective mystery series. He also co-authored eight books in the best-selling NUMA Files with adventure writer Clive Cussler. COOL BLUE TOMB, his first entry in the “Soc” series, won a Shamus award for best paperback original novel from the Private Eye Writers. He has also written two adventure books featuring former Navy SEAL and Woods Hole robotics engineer Matt Hawkins. His most recent book is Killing Icarus, a stand-alone novel set for the most part in Truro. His short story The 6th DECOY was chosen out of two thousand submissions for Best American Mystery Stories for 2020. He and his wife Christi, a financial planner, live in Dennis Port.\n
