acrylic; not food safe
My interest in art was sparked at the Rhode Island School of Design during the end of the 60s. After a 40-year career as a Graphic Designer, from New York “Mad Men” agencies to my own agency in Boston, I decided to apply the visual communication tools I had developed to explore the creative arts.
Over the last five years, I have been combining my knowledge of photography with other media, such as watercolors and acrylics. My effort is to enhance the reality of photography with the creativity of watercolors. I think it pushes the concepts of what we see and what we think we see.
My latest portfolio can be seen at Jobi Pottery and Fine Art Gallery on Rte. 6 in Truro, or online at www.GTvisual.com. Past exhibitions have been with Mass General Hospital, the Apple Store, Chestnut Hill, and City Hall, Newton, MA. I am a member of Newton Open Studios, Newton Art Association, and Truro Group.
I hope you enjoy this scene from Cold Storage Beach, one of my favorite places in Truro.
