“2020: Shred It!”

“2020: Shred It!”

Please join us Saturday, December 26th, from 10-11:30 AM for “2020: Shred It!”, for a special event presented by the Truro Historical Society. We’ll provide paper and a shredder, and you’ll get a chance to write down why you want to say goodbye to 2020 and then drop your thoughts into the shredder. After ridding yourself of 2020’s bad karma, you’ll pick up a packet of seeds to serve as a fresh start for 2021. After ridding yourself of 2020’s bad karma, you’ll pick up a packet of seeds to serve as a fresh start for 2021.

The event will take place on the sidewalk outside of the Cobb Archive. We will abide by social distancing guidelines, so plan to wear your face mask and remain 6 feet apart from others. Drop by the Cobb Archive at 13 Truro Center Road to participate. For more information, email Lauren Kaufmann at [email protected].

Susan Howe Music & Speaker Series

We are very pleased and excited to announce the establishment of the Truro Historical Society’s Susan Howe Music & Speaker Series established in her honor due to the generosity of the Truro community, her family and her many friends and colleagues. In establishing this series, Susan’s commitment to Truro’s history and culture will live on and provide inspiration to all.

We will strive to develop and bring a program of inspiring authors, artists, historians, and musicians to the museum each season to share their knowledge and talent with the community and visitors to Truro.

Stay tuned for updates on this new inspiring series and thank you again for your support. If you would like to donate in Susan’s memory, please click on the link:  Donate to the Susan Howe Memorial Fund
