October 6, 2016 from 5-7 PM at the Truro Public Library
Towns on the Outer Cape are experiencing economic and ecological changes. Commercial and residential development and the prospect of increasing ocean temperatures, rising sea levels, and violent storms threaten to remake storied landscape features and customary ways of life.
Join your neighbors and University of Massachusetts Historian David Glassberg for a conversation about these changes. We’ll have some unusual historical photographs to start the conversation, and we invite you to bring stories and photographs to share.
Sponsored by the National Park Service, the U Mass Amherst Public History Program, the Truro Historical Society, and Save Truro Seashore.
