Fundraising dinner and silent auction: Our annual fundraising event is a gala dinner and silent auction at the Highland House Museum. The silent auction, open to the public from June 27 – August 8 at 6 PM, involves local artists’ transforming (painting, carving, etching, or otherwise modifying) a 20 x 5-inch wooden fish blanks into works of art. A cocktail reception and sit-down dinner for 100 guests will be served by Cosmos Catering. Pre- and post-dinner entertainment will be by Denya LeVine & Julie Charland and will feature sea shanties and other songs of the sea.
